| APPLICATIONS |
 |
Cable Jointing : Primary insulation and
jacketing can be done using TS-1 tape very easily in making
straight through joints and bifurcated joints. The void-free
insulation yields moisture proof jacketing. |

Cable Termination : TS-1 tape can be used
to terminate cables and is recommended in building stress
cones. |

Insulating Busbar : At present busbars
in control panels are being insulated by adhesive H.T.
Tapes, which last for hardly 6-8 months, Moreover since
adhesive H.T. Tapes do not provide adequate protection
from moisture such innovative but highly dangerous methods
like using electric heaters below these joints are being
used. To prevent moisture from seeping in specially during
monsoons, TS-1 HV Tapes provide total moisture, corrosion,
UV, Ozone and Chemical resistance for very long period
doing away with the need to replace busbar insulation
frequently. |

Protection Against Bird Faults : During
nesting season and otherwise, power interruptions occur
due to bird faults which can be eliminated by sing TS-1. |
